I only have the speaker plugged in the green port on the back. I figure the volume getting quiet is a software issue but the cutting out is hardware and I've triple checked all of my connections to make sure there were no bad cables. I'm really not sure what exactly is causing it to cut out completely. I'll monitor and see what happens.
